Groovy time

Hello Guys!!
First Monday of the new month and its UMT at Laura's. This week we have to use Groovy created by Eden  Cut'n It Up. A flowy, curvy tangle and very easy to learn, in fact one tends to get carried away with it :)

I liked the non-shaded and Roshni liked the shaded one so decided to put both of them up :)
Having shot them at night I might reload the pics tomorrow. Till then have a great day and if I don't see you guys before that, have a great weekend.

PS. Thank you all for the lovely comments on last week post, boosted my moral up and helped clearing the cobwebs!!
PS.S. Leaving you guys with one of my favourite groovy song :)

  2. Very nice mono-tangle, I love the way you left some sections blank, it gives a kind of sparkle to the piece.

  4. wow, sort of hypnotic! I also like the few blank ones, really gives the rest some definition. It is interesting to see the differences a little shading adds. Nice tile!

  7. I didn't find Groovy all that easy, but I am glad to see you have it totally under control. Great way to use the tangle. Both are nice, but I prefer the shaded version. Looks more interesting and engaging to me.

  10. Wow! I can't believe you found it easy! I found it very difficult. Yours are both amazing. I like the open "leafs". that's what they look like not filled in.

  11. Beautifully done! Hypnotic, but the random blanks sort of bring us back. Very nice tile!

  12. What a great tile showing the 'stand alone' quality of this beautiful tangle. Just lovely:)

  13. Very striking! I prefer the shaded one a little bit more, but barely--they are both fascinating. I just think the shading elevates it a little and helps to define the illusion of texture and depth. Great tile!
