Morris Recycled

With all the leftover black, used a bayer to coat some more cards and quite liked the heavy textured in some and the peeled feel in others where the color had not registered. And then had some more fun tangling!!

This weeks weekly challenge at I am the diva is to "Create a tile or Zentangle Inspired piece using the William Morris technique of light over dark."

So read about him, saw some of his tapestry work and this is my reflection on Morris.

I painted the black and then used Sakura white gelly roll medium.

It was quite challenging as, the first one I did the ink wouldn't dry as the black paper was semi matt :( it just kept smudging. Then I just took some black acrylic paint, white card stock and voilà.
