This weeks challenge at Divas was to create a tile using bales with the non-dominant hand. It's not one of my best work but, yes it did get better by the end of it. After drawing the string with the left hand i realized that drawing the lines wasn't that challenging as much as tangling the bales. I found that my concentration was even more profound and even though the end result wasn't so great and the shading was - well no words to describe, there was more peace and calmness. Hmmmm something for me to reflect on.
I am so impressed with your clean linework. Very nice.

ReplyDeleteA very thoughtful piece - and I love the small part in the lower left hand side - I don't know if you intended it - but it looks very contoured and puffed. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteNice line work. I like the string that you used. Besides that struggle, I think there were positives gained by many. Isn't that the way it works in life?
ReplyDeleteI like it! Love the shading and the contrast between the straight upper part and the wavy bottom!
ReplyDeleteReally nice bales! I can see the "mindfulness" and peace. :)
ReplyDeleteHappy Zentangling!
